The Centre for Capacity Development Organized an Iftar programme With the Objective of Creating Platform For The Conversation Between the Rector and Student Leadership

On Tuesday 11th April 2022 Centre for Capacity Development organized an iftar at the Kampala campus, sponsored by one of the partner organizations namely Uhudder. The programme was graced by Rector Prof Ismail Simbwa and attended by a number of staff and student leadership.  Coordinator for CCD Saim Celik has welcomed the rector, staff and students. He further pointed out the objectives of the Centre and encouraged student leaders to work with the Centre so as to address the need for developmental programmes to be organised.

After the address of the Coordinator, the Rector had a conversation with students about the concept of leadership at higher learning institutions. The students shared a number of their issues with the Rector.

On behalf of the students, the Guild President thanked the organizers and particularly the Rector for sharing these enjoyable moments with them.
